Rainbow hosts the annual Saturday in the Park Children's Concert at the Carol Stream Village Center
Rainbow sponsors annual food & clothing drives for Wayne Township and other community social services
Our children have adopted a platoon in the Iraqi war (and continue to do so). They make bakery goods and host bake sales to raise money to purchase the items on their list for our platoons. The children also send pictures and hand-made cards to our soldiers.
Rainbow holds sing-a-longs and brings homemade bakery goods to the elderly.
Rainbow hosts an annual Thanksgiving dinner for the children and parents at Rainbow. The children, staff and owners prepare the dinner.
Karen A. Daniel, owner and Executive Director, served on the Human Services Commission in Carol Stream for three years.
Karen A. Daniel was instrumental in helping write the original by-laws for the Carol Stream Chamber of Commerce.
Karen A. Daniel served a full term on the Glenbard North School Improvement Committee in 1994.
Rainbow has hosted annual Spooktacular fun fairs in October to raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Rainbow helped build Kids World Park, a joint-venture park located in Carol Stream, by donating free childcare to the persons building the park, equipment, labor, food, tools and funding.
Rainbow has twenty-one years of participating in the Carol Stream 4^th of July Parade.
Rainbow has twenty-one years of sponsoring Carol Stream little league teams.
Rainbow's employees and its owner have donated time to the Carol Stream Social Services to sort and gift-wrap donated clothing and toys.
Rainbow's employees and its owner have donated time at the Carol Stream Bethlehem Food Center
Rainbow Academy and its children were the first business in Carol Stream to recycle.
Rainbow Academy initiated an exchange program with the local school district to include children with special needs into Rainbow’s programs long before ADA was a concept or "inclusion" was required.

As you can readily see, Rainbow Academy has an unwavering commitment to assisting children develop to their fullest potential and a deeply rooted history in giving back to the community. We are a family that has grown with the community for the past 25 years. There is a deep bond with the generations that keep coming back to Rainbow because of the trust, quality and commitment one can only find in a family. You just can’t duplicate what we have!
