Our DIRECTOR OF EDUCATION AND TRAINING is Lindsey Hansen.  Lindsey has a Bachelor of Science degree in Education with an emphasis in infancy through sixth grade.  Lindsey has been employed by Rainbow since 2000.

Our OFFICE MANAGER, Geri Anderson, became a part of the Rainbow family in 2004.  Geri has brought to Rainbow 15 years of management and customer service experience.

Our TUITION MANAGER, Kristina Vogel, has been with Rainbow Academy since 2000.  Kristina has grown with us from her first position as an assistant teacher to a valued part of our office staff. 

Our DIRECTOR OF SPECIAL NEEDS, Dr. Kimberly Bulava, has a Doctorate in Clinical Neuropsychology.  Kimberly has been working at Rainbow since 1985, during which time she has gained experience in all facets of childcare from infants to school-age children.  Dr. Bulava is retained by Rainbow Academy to write training articles for our staff and conducts staff workshops on brain development, nutrition, as it pertains to brain development, and other related subjects.

Our in-house PHOTOGRAPHER, Jessica Rifis, has been at Rainbow Academy since 1993.  After obtaining her teaching certificate, she proceeded to get her Bachelor of Science in Marketing with a concentration in E-Commerce and Photography and has grown with us from an assistant teacher, to a lead teacher, to Director of Finance and is now our Camp Director and Photographer. 

Jessica takes fall and spring portraits of our Rainbow children as well as photographs weddings and other special occasions.  Jessica also comes to the Center on a monthly basis to take birthday, mother-to-be, birth announcements and other special occasion photos.

Our TEACHING STAFF is carefully selected on the basis of educational background, teaching experience and the ability to meet the individual needs of the children.  In order to insure a smoothly run classroom and program, the teacher’s weekly lesson plans revolve around specific themes for the week, such as “All About Me”, “Cultures Around the World”, "Baby Animals", etc.  Our staff is continually learning new ideas and methods of teaching.  Our teachers attend workshops and monthly curriculum meetings conducted by our Directors.  Each Rainbow staff member is CPR and First Aid certified.

Our FOOD MANAGER, maintenance engineer and designer, Jim Erwin, has been with Rainbow since 1995.  He plans and coordinates the nutritional homemade meals and snacks with our two full-time cooks in our state-of-the-art kitchen.  When Jim is not planning his next meal creation, he is continually maintaining and improving the building and grounds.
